The 21 st Century School Fund, Healthy Schools Campaign and Critical Exposure are pleased to announce the release of the Through Your Lens Book, aphoto book spotlighting student, teacher and community views of our nation’s school building conditions.  The book, which is connected to the national policy debate about school repair, renovation and construction, can be viewed and downloaded free of charge at www.throughyourlens.org.

Photo Book Highlights Reality of School Building Conditions

When you go to school, what do you see? The 21 st Century School Fund, Critical Exposure and Healthy Schools Campaign are pleased to announce the Through Your Lens Book, showcasing the mostly unseen reality of our nation’s school building conditions.

You can view and download the book free of charge at www.throughyourlens.org.

This publication brings together the vivid photos and poignant stories of students and teachers across America with context from statistics, maps and background. It illustrates current school conditions, how our system reached this point, and what is possible for all students and teachers. Perhaps most important, it answers the question, “How can we change this?”

The book links to opportunities to take action as Congress prepares to vote on legislation to fund the repair, renovation and construction of safe, healthy, and green school buildings.
