One thing that can contribute to having a better school is creating a better environment. When something is new you would treat it with more respect vs. having something that has been recycled or is old. Some of Cardozo's lockers are destroyed. I don't know why they thought putting brand new paint on old lockers would make a difference. Some of us have to carry around a backpack that's 20 more pounds than we are, because the lockers are so damaged. We can't even put are belongings in our lockers. We should not have to fear that our belongings will become stolen because the lockers are half way torn open. Lockers are very important because it's impossible to carry your coat, books, notebooks, binder and school supplies, for all classes all day. I took a picture of this locker because it's very important to student that we have better lockers so that the disorganization of not having a locker can stop affecting my education.
