One school. Dozens of buses. Hundreds of students. Gallons and gallons of fuel used every single day to transport these teenagers from home to school and back. But what's more important than the ability of these kids to get a free education is the effect all of that gas has on our environment. Schools are major institutions which use a seemingly endless supply of energy and fuel. We need to cut back on consumption and use more fuel-efficient buses/transportation to prevent the demise of our beautiful surroundings- including these black-eyed susans. |
That is a really good point, ive never really thought about it. We should be grateful that we have free education and that we have buses to transport us from school to home. And i like how you made emphasis on the flowers, and not as much on anything else. nice job! -sara 09/21/09
